A message from our head teacher.

Good morning Parents and Carers,

I hope you have had a good bank holiday and are keeping safe and well during this challenging time? We are so impressed with the way you have been managing during this time and how you have supported your child with their home learning. Thank you for the many messages of support that we have received and for the messages that the children are uploading to See Saw and Evidence Me for their friends and staff.

I am sure you will have heard the government’s announcement last night that schools will begin a phased return from Monday 1st June if the challenges caused by the coronavirus continue to ease. The government has stated that this will start with children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.  For us, it means we will be working hard in the next few days to finalise plans for Reception and Year 1 children to return to school from June 1st in a way which puts the safety of the children and staff first. We will take a cautious approach to this and will be guided by further advice from the Department of Education and the local authority.

As soon as the school is in a position to share more details with you we will do.

Take care everyone. Stay safe.

Zoe Harris
Headteacher
