Social Distancing Measures for WB 7th June

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you have had a lovely half term break and managed to enjoy the warmer weather and sunshine?

We have been monitoring the levels of Coronavirus in the Croydon area and want to slightly adjust our measures for a few days, following a week where, nationally, there has been an increase in the number of positive cases.  We also return from a week away from school where there will have been more social mixing and less social distancing.

For this week, we ask that face coverings are worn again when dropping off and collecting your child. This is particularly important if you stop to have a conversation with another parent or member of staff.

We will also be collecting in the book bags but not sending new books out until the beginning of next week (WB 14th). We will also revert to class phonics this week rather than splitting into groups across the year.

The slight tightening of measures will give us time to monitor the volume of adults and children showing possible symptoms of Covid and hopefully, all going well, we’ll relax these measures again at the start of next week.

Thank you for your continued support.

With warm wishes

Zoe Harris
