Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEND) needed from 1 September 2024.
Fixed Term Contract linked to a child until the end of the summer term 2025
27.5 hours per weeks
Term time plus INSET days


We are looking for someone with relevant school- based experience to join our team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the strategies and approaches needed to support children in achieving their best. He/she will have good literacy and numeracy skills and the equivalent of a Level 2 qualification in each area (or evidence of having passed the school’s basic skills test to a high standard).

He/she will be an effective communicator, able to relate well to adults and children. The successful candidate will have the skills, flexibility and enthusiasm to work in either EYFS or KS1, although the post is initially based in Reception, supporting a child with SEND.

You will be asked to lead a 10 minute task with two children from a Reception class. Please bring a resource or an activity that will show us how you would support children’s learning.
